Evidently QUICK VIEW. Easy in use and fast. Great feature!
    Best regards ;-)

I’m sorry, I don’t understand, is it one entry out of all of the week of Leopard competitions, or 1 entry per post?

Incidentally, my favourite feature is Quick View (if it works as well as it is said to, I don’t have Leopard yet). I could have used when I was sorting out all of my documents folder the other week!

    Cover Flow in the Finder!

My favorite part of the new Finder is the new sidebar. It is so much more useable and funtionable than the old one.

My favourite new feature is definitely the fast search. Before, I’d search for a file in spotlight and it would take at least 10 seconds of looking at a spinning cog before it came up. Now, it’s almost instant. If I search for a rare word, the results appear straight away. If I search for something very common like “Macintosh”, it returns 633 results in a flash. And all the results come with a great icon and are viewable with Quick View. It reminds me of the incredible search that was built into the Be operating system, and I’ve heard that it was built using the same technology (albeit 10 years later). That search was touted as doing something which this new search is going to do: make smart search the new folders. Instead of an applications folder, how about a folder which is a smart search for all applications.

I love the cover flow feature. It was a great idea to extend cover flow into the rest of the Mac OS. Maybe it even hints at a Mac Tablet. Well I will not get my hopes up. I also love quick look, it is a great way to find the file I am looking for, especially if I have many versions.

No question about it: Quick View
