After MacHeist Mission 6, heisters received an Exclusive Safe Deposit Beta Coupon. After many weeks of speculation and wonders, Ollie, the developer posted on the MacHeist forums.

Hi everyone.

First off, I apologize for not being more active in this thread as of late. Secondly, and I hate to say it, but Safe Deposit doesn’t look like it can get in shape for any sort of release.

You all deserve an explanation though: Safe Deposit was a multi-person effort, and things all wound up on me when the programmer left. I have been trying to get it done, but I am a designer – not a Cocoa programmer. We were *really* close to finishing, and that was why I had been so confident putting the web page up and letting you all know about it. Poof; My programmer left for personal issues. I then became hesitant posting in this thread because I was trying so hard to finish it, but at the same time didn’t want to make any promises nor get into too much detail about the issues with the programmer (I was just keeping his personal issues private).

I hope you all can understand, but I don’t think all the effort was in vain – I had also designed and implemented heists 5.5 and 6 at this same time, and it was great to see you all enjoy them as much as you did.
