I agree that Apple needs to bulk up the feature set of .Mac if they want to succeed.

IMO, if apple wants to get more people on .mac they better pick up some extra features… because I don’t think many people can justify the 100.00 for what it provides.

Or you could have both a @mac.com & @iphone.com account.. It would be simple, all apple would have to do is just to say forward all @iphone.com emails to @mac.com

nice idea but why would you give everyone a new email address they already have a .mac.com address
