iAppblog Updates

April 29th, 2008 by EDIT-XTREEM

I’ve been working really, really, hard on reworking the backend of the site. I found a major flaw in the database, and I was fourced to completely (manually) rebuild it. Everything is now working great on the backend, and its time for some frondend work in my opinion.

One thing I have believed in since starting iAppblog over a year ago is that user feedback is the best way to build a site, so I want to know what everyone thinks should be added to iAppblog. Any suggestions, and commends, any feedback. If you want to write for iAppblog, let me know, if you want to have your application reviewed, let me know!

Please post either a comment, or send me an email to let me know.

(If you notice any issues with the site as well, please let me know, I have tested it since I reworked it, but no one’s perfect)

Hehe. Not quite as fun as you’d think. There was an issue with wordpress which did not let me create new users, this was a bit of an issue, and the only way to fix it was to manually reenter all the posts into a new database…

I’m fairly sure there is a script for rebuilding the wordpress SQL database which finds and copies areas of the users’
comment path. I’ll try and find it in the morning for future reference. (Ive use a lot of wordpress in my time :p )
