After watching the whole Adobe Creative Suite 3 keynote, I thought to my self, were did GoLive go?

I heard that Adobe was making GoLive version 9, but the fact that they launched CS3 without it, makes me think that it is dead. Almost 2 years ago, Adobe acquired Macromedia for $3.4 billion is stock.

This article suggests that Adobe is trying to get developers to switch to Dreamweaver CS3.

I have put a call into Adobe to find out about this issue, and will post an update as soon as possible.

Today, Adobe released Creative Suite 3. It is currently available for pre-order from Adobe.com. They have created many packages for different needs, including the Master Collection, a $2,499 complete package. It includes: dobe InDesign® CS3, Photoshop® CS3 Extended, Illustrator® CS3, Acrobat® 8 Professional, Flash® CS3 Professional, Dreamweaver® CS3, Fireworks® CS3, Contribute® CS3, After Effects® CS3 Professional, Adobe Premiere® Pro CS3, Soundbooth™ CS3, and Encore® CS3, and also includes Adobe Bridge CS3, Version Cue® CS3, Device Central CS3 and Dynamic Link.

You can also buy the application individually, if you dont want the set. Adobe has said that the webcast will be online at http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/launchevent/webcast/ by Wednesday March 28.
