Invisible Shield Giveaway

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

Time for a Giveaway! I hope everyone is excited.

Last week I reviewed some Invisible Shields by ZAGG. They are products for protecting you Macs, Phones, Cameras and other gadgets from scratches and wear.

Well, I was given 1 extra Invisible Shield to give away, it is for the iPhone first generation. The reason I decided to give away a first generation one is that the 3G users have been getting all the attention recently, so why not give some stuff to the early adopters of Apple’s iPhone?

So without further ado, Giveaway details;
-Winners gets the Invisible Shield for the 1st Generation iPhone
-Contest open to all residents of the United States and Canada (for shipping reasons)
-We will contact the winner after the giveaway and if we do not get a reply within 72 hours, a new winner will be chosen
-Contest open from July 16 2008 to July 23 2008 at 12:00am EST

And by signing up you recognize that these details can change at any time with no notice.

How do I enter?
Just post a comment and tell us the worst damage you’ve ever done to a device (bonus points for pictures!). Just a few lines about what happened (ie, I dropped my iPhone in the toilet), the result (ie, My iPhone broke), your reaction (ie, I was so mad!) and what you did about it (ie, Bought a new iPhone). (By the way, I never dropped my iPhone in the toilet, thats just an example)

Due to the lack of response so far, the giveaway will be extended until Saturday at 10am est.

Small Apology & Dropbox Invites

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

Unfortunatly, iAppblog hasn’t been updated as it has been recently. This is mostly down to my fault (and Apple). I won’t give you all the information but basically a software update killed both my iMac and my Air and my other computers didn’t have the bare essentials. Basically, it frazzled my hard drive(s). I’m slowly getting running again and iApp is also getting excited due to the 2.0 upgrade.

For being such an idiot and downloading the wrong software update i’m going to dish out 10 Dropbox invites (maybe more, depends on the circulation of the 10) to the first 10 people that reply with their:

1. Email address (your invitation will be sent here)

2. Website (I’m a web crawler (!!) )

Invitations will be sent out within 48 hours or less (probably within the first 20 minutes) and if you don’t receive one please contact us.

Good luck!

Delicious Generation Giveaway Comes to a Close

Tuesday, July 10th, 2007

The Delicious Generation Giveaway has come to an end. After reviewing all the results, and much hard work, I have chosen our 3 winners. Winner #1 is Michael Mistretta with his Delicious Library Movie (click here to see). Winner #2 is Anthony Ryan with his description of Coda;

Coda is a all in one development area, with extremely customizable syntax highlighting, built in ftp, server side editing and documentation references all within a single keystroke. Having a plethora of features all tightly integrated together, Coda represents the balance that makes me love my mac. Power, Simplicity and Elegance, all in a perfect synergy.

. And Winner #3 is Alex Hurter, with a description of Disco;

Simply put it makes burning discs a lot more fun. The smoke effect helped past the time and wow some friends.

Please aim me to talk about your prize. My aim is EDIT-XTREEM@iappblog.com.

Congrats to these winners!
