General Info: Surely if you’re a member of the Mac community you will have heard of either Disco or Appzapper by now, but still, you might be wondering “what do they do that Mac OSX doesn’t do?” Well, if thats your question, I’m going to answer that, here and now, so you will know the answer…
Have you ever dragged an app to the trash and thought, thats the end of that App, more disk space, less apps I don’t need. Well actually, you’d be suprised to see whats still left. In fact, many apps have apps built-in which don’t get deleted when you drag the orginal app to the trash. When you drag an app onto the appzapper interface (which is very simple, very intuitive and very clever) and it automatically shows you what files are associated to the application. At the bottom of the window, you simply click Zap! and every single bit of the application heads to the trash, with a satisfying “Zap”.
This makes Appzapper a very useful utility indeed, which is reflected in its score.
